With over 40 years of unparalleled experience, Mr. Nissanka was widely regarded as an expert in property valuation, both in Sri Lanka and abroad. His journey in the field began with a commitment to excellence, starting with his secondary education at Central College, Piliyandala. Fuelled by his passion for valuation, he embarked on a journey of learning, enrolling in the Diploma in Valuation Course at Ceylon Technical College, Maradana.

In 1956, Mr. Nissanka's talent and dedication were recognized when he was offered employment in the Government Valuation Department, where he served diligently until 1971. His career trajectory took him to new heights in 1972 when he was seconded for service in the State Mortgage Bank. His expertise continued to shine as he was appointed as a Sectional Valuation Officer to the Lusaka City Council, Zambia, in 1974. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in completing the re-assessment of Lusaka City, showcasing his mastery in the field.

In pursuit of further challenges and opportunities, Mr. Nissanka joined the Zambia National Building Society, where he steadily climbed the ranks, eventually holding esteemed positions such as Senior Staff Surveyor, Surveying Manager, and Director of Valuation and Estates. His leadership and expertise contributed significantly to the growth and success of the organization.

With a wealth of experience under his belt, Mr. Nissanka embarked on a new chapter in his career by establishing Sinique Property Service in Lusaka, Zambia. As the Managing Director, he led the firm with a vision for excellence, offering valuation, property management, and related services with a dedication to professionalism and integrity.

Upon his return to Sri Lanka, Mr. Nissanka continued to make waves in the field of property valuation, establishing himself as a preeminent expert in the industry. His commitment to excellence and professionalism earned him the respect of his peers and clients alike, leading to his election as a Fellow member of the Institute of Valuers of Sri Lanka and gaining membership in prestigious foreign professional bodies such as FIABCI and IRRV.
